Terms & Conditions of Sale

By purchasing from Artistic Tile and Stone, you agree to the following terms and guidelines regarding order processing, shipping, and liability.

1. Special Orders & Third-Party Shipping

  • Processing Time: Please allow one to three business days for order processing prior to shipping by third-party suppliers.

  • Liability: AT&S cannot guarantee expedited shipping of Special Orders and is not liable for carrier or third-party delays.

  • Returns: Special Orders are non-returnable unless damaged in transit.

2. Shipping & Freight Policy

  • Heavy Shipments: Orders exceeding 6 boxes or 120 lbs may ship via a freight company.

  • Additional Charges: Services such as inside delivery or liftgate service requested by the customer may incur additional charges. Artistic Tile and Stone reserves the right to charge your account for these additional fees beyond the prepaid shipping on the order.

  • Frozen Liquid Products: AT&S assumes no liability for liquid products that freeze during transit. Receivers in cold climates must bring products indoors immediately. Claims for frozen goods must be made against the carrier.

3. Damages & Returns

  • Transit Damage: You must notify the carrier immediately and note damages on the delivery receipt. Notify AT&S within 48 hours of receipt. Replacement merchandise will ship via ground service after a claim is filed.

  • Restocking Fees: All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Shipping, transaction, payment processing, and insurance fees are non-refundable.

  • Credit Card Refunds: A 5% fee applies to all credit card refunds. Credits typically appear on statements within one to two billing cycles.

  • Electrical Products: No returns are accepted for any electrical product that has been opened.

  • Installed Material: No returns or claims are accepted once material has been installed. Refer to our Installed Materials Policy for details.

4. Product Variations & Accuracy

  • Shade Variations: Variations are inherent in all tile and stone. AT&S does not accept returns for shade variations. We strongly suggest obtaining a current lot sample before purchase.

  • Content Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AT&S offers no guarantees regarding the accuracy of content on this website and reserves the right to change page contents without notice.

5. Warranty Disclaimer

Artistic Tile and Stone itself OFFERS NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND for any product sold through this website. Manufacturer warranties may apply where provided.

6. Return Shipping Instructions

  • Authorization: You must contact us before returning any package to verify the correct warehouse. Forwarding expenses for items sent to the wrong location are the customer's responsibility.

  • San Carlos Returns: If authorized, ship prepaid and fully insured to:

  • Pool Tile: All Pool Tile is Special Order. DO NOT return Pool Tile to the San Carlos location.

  • Insurance Required: You must ship returns INSURED with a tracking number. AT&S is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
